Too many photographers claim to shoot Edmonton Weddings in a Photojournalistic Style. The eyes behind Doc Weddings are Jimmy Jeong and Shaughn Butts, who collectively have 25 years as working Photojournalists. Contributing photographers also includes the very talented Ben Lemphers and Jason Franson.

Jimmy lends his documentary skills to tell honest stories with his camera. He has been shooting for editorial clients for the last ten years. He is a regular contributor to Getty Images, the Canadian Press and the Globe and Mail. His work has been published in the New York Times, The Boston Globe, The National Post and Avenue Magazine. He has also been published internationally in Europe, Africa, the Americas and Asia.

Shaughn has been shooting for a large daily newspaper for 15 years, primarily covering sports and entertainment. Weddings are appealing for him as they can be unpredictable, spontaneous, and emotional. His recent wedding locations have taken him to Maui, Southern California and the Rockies.

Many wedding photographers claim to capture weddings in a photojournalistic style, although few have editorial experience or worked as documentary photographers.
